Abortion in the Philippines

Abortion. A process in which the gestation of a mother is terminated prematurely wherein the conceptus or the so-called fetus is removed which will ultimately kill it. Abortion has two main types. These are the “induced abortion” and “spontaneous abortion”. From the words itself, induce abortion is the INTENTIONAL termination of life of a fetus. It is either by medical or surgical. In the use of medical abortion, the abortion is induced by administering drugs/medication that would both directly poison the conceptus and eventually kill it or by inducing the contraction of the mothers’ uterus to expel the conceptus. On the other hand, surgical abortion is an invasive procedure done to remove the conceptus from the mothers’ womb. The process may depend on the age of gestation( age of the conceptus). Oh How I Miss The Buhay Promdi.

Walking around the bukid making palipad of saranggola, making ligo at the creek, making laba by the ilog, then make pakain of the baboy and other poultry anima ls.  I also miss the times when I make akyat of puno ng mango then make pitas of the frouwts. Especially the hilaw ones. Kasi I like to make sawsaw in the alamang/ bagoong. It tastes so freaking sarap. And one more thing. When you go to the kanto at aling nena's mini grocery store(sarisari store) they have that masarap na chicken guts, if i remember it tama they kinda call it like isaw-isaw??? Because you make sawsaw of it in the sawsawan made of vinegar and sili.  Kuliglig. It’s like our place’s ultimate mode of transportation. It looks like a wagon/ chariot but instead of a kabalyo, we make use of a modern makina, which is powered by gasoline. I don’t know why it was called kuliglig. But I have this theory that it came from the uni/ tunog it makes when you make paandar of the makina. When you pull th...
